Unfortunately, GVdialer is no longer available for download. This was a very hard decision for us. Google’s release of their free GV apps, as well as the fact that Apple pulled off our application just before a new version was about to be released, finally made maintaining this great product not feasible.

We would like to thank everyone for their feedback and support – you guys rock!

Yes, the rumors you heard on the internet are true. We got a call from Apple today saying that GVdialer for iPhone has been taken off App-store since it has features much similar to the iPhone's native dialer's. This comes at the worst timing since our new iPhone app, which includes support for SMS, VM and much more, was under the process of Apple's approval. We will be posting updates on this soon.

Here are a few pics of the new Blackberry version, starting with the GV SMS Inbox. Every line is actually a conversation you can get into, just like in your Google Voice account.

This is one of our personal favorites: send text message using GVdialer from your Blackberry's Options menu. You can also use it to reply to your phone's regular emails & text messages, or from the call log & address book.

The new version allows you to use make calls in 2 ways: the first is regular call-out, which you are already familiar with. The second & new one is data triggered call back, just like you can do from your Google Voice account.

Newly added: an option to check for online software updates.

Thanks to everyone who asked to participate in the Beta testing for the new GVdialer Blackberry version. We really appreciate the feedback we got from you so far - please keep it coming. As for those of you who did not receive back a Beta app - as much as we are sorry to disappoint you, we are limiting the number of Beta users for now. We are doing our best to make the app available on our website as soon as possible, and guarantee it's worth waiting for.

You probably already know, but just in case you missed it: Google Voice has recently added an option to choose between protecting your voicemail with a PIN for safety, and taking off the PIN for easy access. Well, the reason why we're telling you this is that you can now make GVdialer work faster by taking off the PIN requirement on your Google Voice account (It’s under Settings>Phones>Click Edit next to your mobile number>Show Advanced Settings>Voicemail Access). Don't forget to change the setting on GVdialer as well: simply go to 'My Account' inside GVdialer and uncheck 'Use Voicemail' PIN.
